Senators eye less stringent compliance on CPD law
Some professionals may be exempted from the controversial Republic Act 10912, or the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) law, under the proposed revision of the Senate on the legislation's Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
During a Senate hearing on Wednesday, Sen. Ralph Recto withdrew his push to repeal the CPD Law, and instead call for the review and revision of the IRR that will make the compliance to the CPD law voluntary for some professions.
